PhotoGIF™ 2.1.1 is a minor update (free from previous 2.x versions)  that is mostly cosmetic but, it does correct one potential problem with a CDEV that was flagged as purgeble when it should not have been. This could potentially cause random crashes under certain conditions. Note, that Photoshop 3.0.5 suffers from a similar problem with a WDEF marked as purgeable that can also cause random crashes.

  18. This problem can be corrected with a shareware utility called 'WDEF Fixer' that can be downloaded from http://www.linksware.com.

  20. PhotoGIF™ 2.1.1 also makes big improvements to documentation. Documentation is now included in DOCMaker format and includes illustrations at last.

All the gruesome details can be found in the included documentation, and of course, first hand from PhotoGIF™, just drop it in your plug-ins folder and have a go at it. There are big improvements over the previous documentation. It’s longer, more thorough and better written now and does a lot to explain the multitude of capabilities in PhotoGIF™ from editing modes for GIF animations to using the edge tool to remove halo effects from you transparent GIFs.
